The Lifesaving Society establishes aquatic safety standards and provides consultation on aquatic safety issues for the aquatic industry and governments. In addition, Society representatives perform aquatic safety audits and serve as experts in legal cases involving aquatic safety.
In pursuit of its mission to eliminate drowning and water related injury in Canada, the Lifesaving Society articulate’s and promotes its official positions on issues about aquatic safety.
